The sixth annual Artists’ Studio Tour of the Wood River Valley, a self-guided tour of working artist studios in the Sun Valley area, will be held on Friday, August 21, Saturday, August 22, and Sunday, August 23, from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm each day. Thirty-eight established artists based in the Wood River Valley will open their studios to the public for a unique and intimate art experience, including 10 new artists that have never participated in the tour before.

There will be art for sale at each location, as well as the opportunity to discuss techniques and inspiration with the artists themselves. Participating artists work in a variety of mediums including painting, sculpture, photography, jewelry, glass, leather, wood, metal, basketry, ceramics, textiles, and wearable art.

The tour is divided into four zones: North Valley (Ketchum and Sun Valley) featuring 13 artists, Mid Valley (between Ketchum and Hailey) featuring four artists, Hailey featuring eight artists, and South Valley (Bellevue and surrounding area), featuring 13 artists. Visiting at least two studios in each zone of the tour over the three days will qualify you to enter a raffle drawing with gifts from all 38 participating artists as prizes.

Due to ongoing road construction on Highway 75 just south of Ketchum, organizers advise those in the northern part of the valley to focus on Ketchum and Sun Valley studio tours on Friday and those in the southern part of the valley to focus on mid-valley, Hailey, and Bellevue tours to avoid traffic delays. Road construction and traffic delays should not be an issue on Saturday or Sunday.
