The Idaho Dark Sky Alliance (IDSA) invites the community to celebrate International Dark Sky Week, April 13–20, by supporting local businesses participating in a special “Dark Sky Drinks” collaboration. Throughout the week, several local establishments will feature dark sky inspired drinks served with IDSA-branded coasters, helping raise awareness about light pollution and the importance of preserving our night skies.

- The Kneadery
- Limelight
- Pioneer Saloon
- Sun Valley Club
- Wylde Beet
Each location will offer a unique beverage inspired by the beauty of the night sky for the duration of Dark Sky Week. The initiative aims to spark conversation about the growing issue of light pollution and encourage the community to appreciate and protect Idaho’s remarkable nighttime environment.
International Dark Sky Week is a global celebration that highlights the importance of responsible lighting and the value of dark skies for wildlife, human health, and our ability to experience the stars. By partnering with local businesses, IDSA hopes to create an engaging and accessible way for the community to participate in dark sky awareness.
Community members are encouraged to visit participating locations during the week, enjoy a themed drink, and learn more about how protecting dark skies helps preserve Idaho’s natural nightscape.
