Sunset Skin Up Bald Mountain with SheJumps

SheJumps and Get the Girls Out are excited to invite you to a Sunset Skin-up Bald Mountain. Meet at River Run Lodge at the base of Bald Mountain for a Daylight Savings sunset skin up Baldy. We’ll skin up College and enjoy spectacular Pioneer Mountain views. Generous swag from Wild Rye will be offered! Required equipment includes: skins, skis or split boards with adjustable bindings, appropriate boots, a safety light, reflective clothing and a headlamp. No instruction will be provided. This meet-up event is free with a suggested donation of $10. Spend a day in someone else’s skis! All levels and abilities are welcome to enter.  The Adaptive experience will begin with training to ski as someone with a disability would, followed by a friendly race testing your new skills, and the opportunity to have a “celebrity” HG participant join your team. U.S Alpine National Championships

Sun Valley Resort is excited to host the Toyota U.S. Alpine Championships presented by Stifel kicking off April 2 and welcoming elite and next-generation ski racers vying for spots on the Stifel U.S. Alpine Ski Team. The racing event, which runs April 2-5, is the final competition on the hotly contended US national ski racing circuit and is the culmination of a season-long showcase of the best of the best in US ski racing athleticism. Saturday starts the week of events with training opportunities for racers and a sponsor village and live apres music in Warm Springs Plaza. Sunday, April 2, the racing kicks off with men’s and women’s super-G followed by Clicquot in the Snow Party at Warm Springs and the Opening Ceremony at Town Square in Ketchum featuring a Parade of Athletes and a free concert by Lowdown Brass Band. Men’s and women’s slalom will run on Monday, April 3, women’s giant slalom on Tuesday, April 4, and men’s giant slalom on Wednesday, April 5; each day’s races will be followed by awards and live music in the Warm Springs Plaza. Dollar Dayz Pond Skim

Don’t miss the “Cold Bowl Pond Skim” on Dollar’s final day, Sunday, March31st kicking off at 10am. Participants will try to make it across the pond on their skis or snowboard – in full costume! Wear your best Hawaiian or tropical-themed costume and come ready to enjoy BBQ, a family scavenger hunt, and lots of laughs! Pre-registration is required for pondskim participants.
