ERC Clean Sweep

Join the Environmental Resource Center (ERC) for our 28th annual community-wide trash pick-up! Since 1994, volunteers of all ages have come together to clean up our cities, neighborhoods, and trails after the long winter on the first Saturday in May. The ERC’s 2024 Clean Sweep will take place on Saturday, May 4th from 9 am-12 pm. Participation is free and easy! Earth Day After Dark

The Hailey Public Library, Central Idaho Dark Sky Alliance and Boise State University’s AstroTAC Team are hosting Earth Day After Dark, a free night of observing on Saturday, April 22, from 8:30-11:00ish.  The Team has presented astronomy programs throughout southern Idaho.  Highlights will include the Lyrid Meteor Shower, deep sky objects, bright planets and the last glimpse of winter constellations. Meet at the Croy Canyon Motorized Trailhead, 3.1 miles west of Hailey.  Check the HPL website at www.haileypubliclibrary.org after 5 PM in case of weather-related cancelation.
