Redfish Center and Gallery

Stop in at the Redfish Center and Gallery (located on the banks of Redfish Lake) to view our wide variety of books and maps. Managed by the Sawtooth Interpretive and Historical Association (SIHA), a local non-profit, we hold books from local authors, detailing the history of the Sawtooth Valley, stories for the kids, and even memoirs from some local scientists. We have maps of the trails in the Sawtooth National Recreation Area, the Salmon-Challis Forest, the Boise Forest, and the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness. Stop in today to ask our Naturalists about these books and maps! All books and maps sales, plus donations and memberships, assist with providing educational programming and historical preservation to the Valley! We also host a Gallery inside the building. The artists are from all around Idaho, but gather their inspiration from the Sawtooth area. We have colorful paintings, incredible photography, and hand-made earrings and copper fish. 35% of each purchase from in the Gallery helps provide further educational programs to our visitors. Check out the view from the Center here! (Sawtooth Interpretive & Historical Association webcam)
