Sun Valley Culinary Institute presents The Welcome Party on Saturday, June 22 at 6 p.m., for A Summer Soiree celebration at a private Sun Valley Home with good friends, exceptional wine and fabulous food prepared by celebrity Chef Art Smith and Food Network insider Bruce Seidel. Enjoy a seated dinner, live and silent auction, and paddle up, and then dance the night away with music by DJ SID3S. The Welcome Party supports the Sun Valley Culinary Institute Scholarship Fund, which assists with student education costs while supporting Wood River Valley’s restaurant community. 12th Annual Empty Bowls to benefit Blaine County Charitable Fund
Join us for the 12th annual Empty Bowls Event on Sunday, January 21st. Blaine County Charitable Fund, Boulder Mountain Clayworks and the Church of the Big Wood are hosting the annual Empty Bowls event January 21st from 11:30 am – 2 pm at the Church of the Big Wood. Previously hosted and benefiting the Hunger Coalition, the fundraiser was handed over to the Blaine County Charitable Fund. Purchase a handmade bowl for $25 and fill with generous helpings of soup, chili, salad, bread and dessert from local chefs.

28th Annual Garden Tour
Join us and 600 of our closest friends and plant lovers for the North Valley Tour de Fleur! Showcasing six outstanding private landscapes in the Hulen Meadows and Warm Springs neighborhood, this always popular curation of cultivation is not to be missed. Grab your parasol, floppy hat, and breezy garden strolling attire and enjoy the fruits of these passionate gardeners as they open their lovely landscapes for our viewing pleasure. Tickets are $35 for SBG members, $40 for non members and ticket prices increase by $5 on Thursday, July 20.
Paint a Legacy 5k
Help us leave a legacy of smiles, Wood River Valley! This 5k color run will be supporting our local non-profit, Dental Legacy Foundation. Please wear a white shirt and sunglasses! Each racer will be given a race bib, and a cup of paint to throw at the start line, and a medal at the finish line. The race will start at 11:00 am. Please show up early to pick up your bib and check in before the race starts. The race will start at the dirt parking lot in front of the High School. Please park at the Wood River High School and Community Center. We can’t wait to see. you there!
