The Artists’ Studio Tour of the Wood River Valley will be held on Friday, August 18 and Saturday, August 19 from 11am-5pm each day. Forty established artists from our valley will open their studios to the public. Visiting eight studios over the two days will qualify you to enter a drawing with gifts from participating artists as prizes. There will be art for sale at each location, as well as the leisure to discuss techniques and inspiration with the artists themselves. In these days of molasses-speed supply chains and slowed down shipping, it makes even more sense to shop regionally from artists who have stock on hand ready to hand over to you. Dollar Dayz Pond Skim
Don’t miss the “Cold Bowl Pond Skim” on Dollar’s final day, Sunday, March31st kicking off at 10am. Participants will try to make it across the pond on their skis or snowboard – in full costume! Wear your best Hawaiian or tropical-themed costume and come ready to enjoy BBQ, a family scavenger hunt, and lots of laughs! Pre-registration is required for pondskim participants. International Women’s Day “Lap for the Ladies”
Kick off International Women’s Day at Sun Valley with a celebration of inclusivity and women in the outdoors with “A Lap for the Ladies!” Meet at top of Baldy at 10:00am to join in a fun celebration and photo op before cruising down College!
