Sawtooth Botanical Garden
The Sawtooth Botanical Garden offers a beautiful backdrop for all of your special events as well as a professional setting for hosting meetings and seminars. The five acre Garden is a four season destination. The entire garden may be utilized seasonally while the greenhouse and Visitor’s Center may be used year-round. The outdoor gardens are perfect for tented events including weddings, reunions and large parties. Caterers will feel at home in the spacious kitchen featuring a commercial grade gas oven/range, walk-in cooler and freezer. The Garden of Infinite Compassion, Ellen Long Garden Pavilion, and the Formal Perennial Garden and Lawn area provide beautiful venues for outdoor events. Galena Lodge is a day-lodge owned by the Blaine County Recreation District (BCRD) on behalf of the community nestled in the heart of the Boulder Mountains 23 miles north of the Sun Valley Resort and Ketchum, Idaho. We’re open daily in the Winter and Summer seasons serving lunch, special dinners, and operating as home base for cross-country skiers, mountain bikers, and hikers. We offer overnight lodging only in our semi-backcountry yurts. Galena Lodge is surrounded by a 47-mile non-motorized single-track trail network that was created through a partnership between BCRD, Galena Lodge and the Sawtooth NRA. The trails are suited for all users including beginner, intermediate and advanced hikers, runners, equestrians and mountain bikers. Galena Lodge Yurts Feeling adventurous? This nearly pedal free traverse delivers momentum hungry banked turns, wheelie-friendly rollers and jaw-dropping views. Accessed via the upper Broadway trail, Lupine meanders effortlessly across the famed bowls where it eventually connects to the lower section of Saddle-Up.
