Motorized Introduction to Avalanches Field Day – Cancelled
Baker CreekThis event has been cancelled Designed for motorized backcountry travel. Join the Friends of the Sawtooth Avalanche Center instructors for a field day covering avalanche rescue basics, snowpack layering, avalanche terrain identification, and basic backcountry travel. The field day will take place at Baker Creek. There is a connected presentation at the Sawtooth Snowmobile Club at Karl Malone’s in Hailey on January 10. We highly recommend going to that before coming to the field day. Bald Mountain Tours
River Run LodgeJoin us for a complimentary Bald Mountain Tour, offered every Monday, Wednesday & Friday throughout the winter season. Tours meet at 9:30am in the Mountain View Room at River Run Lodge and are guided by one of the friendly members of our Mountain Guest Services team (yellow coats). They will guide you around Bald Mountain’s vast terrain, share where the best skiing and riding is and wow you with some amazing historical facts about Sun Valley. Tours are open for all ski levels.
