Designed for motorized backcountry travel. Join the Friends of the Sawtooth Avalanche Center instructors for a field day covering avalanche rescue basics, snowpack layering, avalanche terrain identification, and basic backcountry travel.

The field day will take place at Baker Creek.

There is a connected presentation at the Sawtooth Snowmobile Club at Karl Malone’s in Hailey on January 10. We highly recommend going to that before coming to the field day.
