We are excited to announce that starting summer of 2023, the Ketchum Farmers Market will be moving to the Forest Service Park at 131 River St. East!  Come join the fun, shop, taste the freshness of local produce, get to know your farmers, buy in-season produce and plant starts, listen to free music with family and friends and enjoy the atmosphere of the Wood River Farmers’ Markets. Learn to fly cast, or brush up on your double haul technique with one of our fun and experienced guides. These casting clinics are for anyone who is curious or just a little rusty. Clinics will run Tuesday through Saturday at the Sun Valley Resort from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm throughout the summer. Equipment will be provided, but feel free to bring your own. Children’s Summer Meals: Volunteer to prepare!

The Hunger Coalition

The Hunger Coalition and The Community Library provide free meals, books and enrichment activities to children throughout the Wood River Valley during summer. Join us in meal preparation; we're serving anywhere from 100 to 200 meals a day! We chef it up Mondays and Wednesday mornings, through August 24. Visit our website to reserve your volunteer time today! Time slots are 8:30am - 11am and 10am to 12:30pm, on both Mondays and Wednesdays.

The Community Library

Take out lunches from the Senior Connection including a short reading selection presented by the Community Library. Thursdays, beginning June 8th, lunch served 11:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Pick up your lunch or stay awhile at the Library's Cimino Plaza, outside the Children’s Library Entrance at 4th and Walnut (the program will move indoors to the Learning Commons during inclement weather). Come enjoy a nutritious and convenient lunch while engaging with other community members over interesting literature. Lunch registration is required.

We recommend bringing your own eye protection/sunglasses, work gloves and sunscreen. A small pack is nice to have for water, layers and a snack. No dogs please. EVENING EXHIBITION TOUR: Hidden Gems

Enjoy an evening tour of the Hidden Gems exhibition with The Sun Valley Museum of Art's curators. Hidden Gems features important works from private collections throughout the Wood River Valley and offers visitors the opportunity to view artwork by some of the best-known artists of our times. The exhibition highlights the diversity and depth of modern and contemporary art in local collections and includes painting, photography, prints, and sculpture. Among the highlights are paintings by modernists Georgia O’Keeffe, Agnes Pelton, and Fairfield Porter, photography by Tina Barney, Robert Frank, Anthony Hernandez, and Cindy Sherman, minimalist prints by Ellsworth Kelly, Sol LeWitt, and Frank Stella, sculpture and watercolors by Ken Price, and a painting by contemporary artist Cecily Brown.
