Join SIHA and IRU for this FREE, family friendly event that is all about celebrating Idaho’s wild salmon and steelhead! We will have bus tours out to the river to see wild salmon spawning with educational interpretive talks. Various vendors with salmon education related activities will be going on all day. Hang out and enjoy music, entertainment and a BBQ lunch for purchase mid-day. 10am – Drive yourself to the Pettit Lake weir to learn about the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes’ sockeye recovery efforts 11am-5pm: Information booths and activities on the Stanley Museum Lawn available all day! 11:30am – Salmon Redd Tour Noon-4pm – Burgers and brats available for purchase 12:30pm – Salmon Conservation Update 1:00pm – Salmon Redd Tour 1:30pm – Live Music: Richard Blair 2:00pm – Native American Song/Dance Exhibition 3:00-5:00pm – Live Music: Turtle Poppers 3:30pm – Final Salmon Redd Tour

At Hikin’ Buddies, you can take a shelter dog for a hike or hang out and socialize some of the smaller dogs. It is a great opportunity to meet some of Mountain Humane’s adoptable dogs as well as to learn more about the organization. All are welcome to join in throughout the summer, weather permitting. Meet at Adam’s Gulch trailhead, north of Ketchum, from 9:30am - 1:00pm on Wednesdays. No appointment is necessary; just bring your family and friends to have a good time with some dogs that would love to meet you!

Benjamin is an adjunct professor at the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine and specializes in working with impaired physicians, executives, nurses, attorneys, and other professionals. Benjamin is the President of Southworth International and was asked to serve as successor to the late John Southworth. He is also one of the founding partners of RevWerx, a Revenue Cycle Management Company providing billing, and consulting services to some of the nation's leading behavioral health programs. Benjamin currently serves as the Program Coordinator for the State of Idaho’s Physicians Health Program, Program for Recovering Nurses, Pharmacists Recovery Network, and the Idaho State Bar’s Lawyers Assistance Program.
