We are excited to announce that starting summer of 2023, the Ketchum Farmers Market will be moving to the Forest Service Park at 131 River St. East!  Come join the fun, shop, taste the freshness of local produce, get to know your farmers, buy in-season produce and plant starts, listen to free music with family and friends and enjoy the atmosphere of the Wood River Farmers’ Markets. Support local-made and grown products and help strengthen and build our local economy! Your health will thank you. Wednesdays from 12-4 pm June 14th-October 11th, 2023

The River Run Summer Series is a casual opportunity to gather with friends and family for an evening outdoors held four Wednesdays beginning July 26th. The community is invited to come down to River Run from 5 to 8 pm to hang out at the base of beautiful Bald Mountain with live music, lawn games, food and beverages. Lift service will be extended for the series operating until 7pm and a portion of the proceeds from lift ticket sales will benefit a different local non-profit each week. Be sure to keep dogs leashed at River Run Plaza. No uphill hiking (human & dog) on River Run Trail until 8pm Dates July 26 August 2 August 16 August 23 August 30

Pick Your Poison: Itchin’ to Know More About Poison Ivy?

The Hailey Public Library’s favorite forensic chemist Cat Helms will discuss how to identify poison ivy which is found in low and mid-elevations throughout Idaho, its history and cultural significance and why some people are affected by touching it and some are not. The free talk will be held at Town Center West, 116 S River, Thursday, August 24, from 5:30-7:00 PM.

Sun Valley Story Tour

Jump on the Mountain Rides Blue Route from the Visitor Center in Ketchum for a one-hour free bus tour highlighting the area's rich heritage. Guided by local volunteers. The Mountain Rides Blue Route leaves the Visitor Center at 10:15 am and returns in one hour after traveling to Warm Springs, back to downtown Ketchum, out to Sun Valley and Elkhorn, and back to the Visitor Center. Space on the Mountain Rides bus is limited to 20 Sun Valley Story Tour passengers so we encourage early sign-ups at the Visitor Center Register in advance for this tour by calling 208.726.3423, via email: info@visitsunvalley.com or in person at the Visitor Center at 491 Sun Valley Road, Ketchum. Register no later 9:45am on Friday (day of the tour) on space available basis.

The 2023 Hailey Market is on Saturday mornings from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. The Hailey market will remain in it’s wonderful location- the front of Roberta McKercher Park (Main Street on the south end of town, between 3rd and 4th Avenue)! Enjoy some live music and ready to eat foods. Customers are encouraged to bring their own bags and market baskets.
