Annual Big Wood River Clean Up

Howard Preserve

Join the Wood River Land Trust in their commitment to environmental stewardship at the Big Wood River Clean Up Event, happening Saturday, September 21, 2024. This community-driven initiative aims to preserve the health and beauty of the Big Wood River, a vital natural resource in the Wood River Valley. Participants of all ages are invited to roll up their sleeves, don their gloves, and join forces to remove litter and debris from the riverbanks and surrounding areas. By coming together for this important cause, we can make a tangible impact on the cleanliness and sustainability of our local waterways. Join us for a day of camaraderie, conservation, and making a positive difference in our community's natural heritage. PROJECT OVERVIEW Every year, the Wood River Land Trust hosts the Big Wood River Clean Up. This is an awesome way for the community to spend the morning with friends and family, giving back to the river that gives our community so much. We staff three locations - the Howard Preserve in Bellevue, the Draper Preserve in Hailey, and Warm Springs Preserve in Ketchum.
