Our Permit with the US Forest Service for 750,000 square acres gives us exclusive helicopter access to a massive playground with spectacular terrain, covering three mountain ranges. This is by far the most exclusive terrain of any operator in the lower 48 states, as well as most operators in Canada and Alaska. Our 4 passenger A Star B-3E, the unquestioned king of helicopters for helicopter skiing, provides an intimate guest to guide raito of 4:1. It truly is your own Private Idaho. Boulder Mountain Clayworks
Boulder Mountain Clayworks, nestled in Sun Valley, Idaho, is located within easy walking distance of Ketchum and has a view of Baldy Ski Mountain from the glaze room. The Studio is fully equipped for stoneware, porcelain and raku pottery. Boulder Mountain Clayworks has 2,000 sq. ft. With 12 wheels, a slab roller, pug mill extruder and plenty of room for handbuilding. The kiln room contains two large Skutt electric kilns, one for bisque and the other for high fire. The glaze kiln is a 16 cu. ft. Geil downdraft gas kiln. It is all wonderful. Boulder Mountain Clayworks was established July, 1997 to encourage the development of clay arts within the community by offering classes for children and adults. During the summer Boulder Mountain Clayworks offers weekend workshops with prominent clay and other media artists. These workshops are “hands on,” everyone works and has a great time! Boulder Mountain Clayworks also has communal studio space to share with other clay artists.
Blaine County Housing Authority
Blaine County Housing Authority (BCHA) is a public organization committed to community housing as first identified in the 1997 Ketchum-Blaine County Housing Needs Assessment, which prompted the creation of a housing authority in that year. BCHA’s primary goal is to promote various methods for providing housing at affordable sales prices and rental rates to people comprising the “working population”. These individuals and families are unable to purchase or rent reasonable quality housing within Blaine County due to market-rate housing price levels. BCHA and municipal officials feel it is essential to the economic health of the county that people working in Blaine County can become permanent members of the community via home ownership and/or rental. BCHA maintains affordable housing via rental agreements, deed restrictions, and ownership and leasing of land. By advising governmental staff and agencies on possible changes to zoning and land use policies, BCHA works with local governments and planning entities to encourage the development of and minimize constraints to affordable housing development. Wherever possible, BCHA provides housing within close proximity to the employment location of residents. In particular, housing opportunities are provided relatively close to employment centers, including the cities of Ketchum, Sun Valley, Hailey, and Bellevue. Locations …

Mountain Humane – We’re on a mission to change lives by connecting pets and people. The first no-kill shelter in the state of Idaho, Mountain Humane is a non-profit organization generously supported by more than 2500 donors and 500 volunteers each year. The residents of the Wood River Valley have designated Mountain Humane as the “Best Non-Profit” in the community for the last eight years. The shelter is increasingly recognized as a destination for adoption, with “Mountain Humane alumni” living with families in 37 states and Canada. Our adoption rate has steadily increased over the years, with 622 animals adopted by loving homes last year alone! We are thrilled to share our unique space in Croy Canyon to the Wood River Valley Community and beyond! The Sun Valley Wine Company is a hybrid wine bar and wine shop located in the heart of Ketchum. The Wine Shop: The Sun Valley Wine Company offers more than 900 different wines on the floor of the retail wine shop that is organized by geographic region and varietal. In addition, there is a curated selection of highly allocated and fine wine in the cellar. In addition, the wine shop will make every effort to accommodate special orders working with 8 local distributors. Delivery is offered based on availability and staffing. Shop Discounts are offered on mix-and-match cases of 6 and 12 bottles. The Wine Bar: The wine bar features a wine list that offers hand selected wines both by the glass and by the bottle. In addition, guests can choose a bottle with retail pricing from the wine shop selection and enjoy it on-premise for an additional $10 on the retail cost.
