Pollinators, pollinators everywhere! It’s time for SBG’s annual Bug Zoo Festival! Pop over to the garden and get in on the fun with hands-on educational activities in a festival atmosphere. There will be pollinator exhibits, live critters, fun activities, face painting, food trucks, snow cones, plant and honey sales and much more! Entrance tickets: adults $10, youth 3-18 years $5, and littles 0-3 years free. Note to educators: We invite classes to the garden for scheduled educational tours May 13th-May 16th from 9am-2pm. Materials will be geared towards students pre-K-5 though all grades are invited. The cost is $3/student with scholarships available for students upon request. Join us for a slow stroll on nearby easy to moderate trails as we appreciate native blooming plants and other flora and fauna of our area. Walks will be led by naturalists, birders, botanists and wildflower enthusiasts. These FREE walks will occur every Thursday from May 22-July 17 (with the exception of July 3). We have a couple of special walks in the queue for this season: May 22nd-Camas Prairie with Nolan Brown and Bailey Dann, members of the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes. Visit the prairie, learn about the tribe’s relationship with the camas and surrounding prairie and get informed about active threats to the cherished prairie. We are asking for a $10-$15 exchange to help us cover the costs for this walk. May 29th-Democrat Gulch with the Wood River Land Trust. Learn about the natural flora and fauna and hear all about the WRLT’s exciting effort to acquire 2,300 acres of Hailey Hot Springs (formerly Democrat Ranch) land in their long-term stewardship project. The May 29th walk will lead us to Democrat Gulch with the Wood River Land Trust. Learn about the natural flora and fauna and hear all about the WRLT’s exciting effort to acquire 2,300 acres of Hailey Hot Springs (formerly Democrat Ranch) land in their long-term stewardship project. We will rendezvous at Sawtooth Botanical Garden at 9am and follow each other or carpool to the trailhead. Children under 14 are welcome with an adult. No dogs please! Bring clothing appropriate for changing weather, hiking shoes (leave those flip fops and dress shoes at home, folks), sun protection, plenty of water and a lunch for yourself. Fairy Trails Grand Opening at Sawtooth Botanical Garden

We are delighted to invite you to the GRAND OPENING of our new community Fairy Trail! Come experience the magic of the garden and listen to the secrets of the fairies in this enchanted land. This exhibit will be yours to explore from June-September. Fairy houses are made by community members with love and a little fairy dust and placed throughout the garden. 30th Annual Garden Tour

Join us and 600 of our closest friends and plant lovers for the 30th Annual Garden Tour. Showcasing several outstanding private landscapes in north valley neighborhoods, this always-popular curation of cultivation is not to be missed. Grab your parasol, floppy hat, and garden strolling attire and enjoy the fruits of these passionate gardeners as they open their lovely landscapes for our viewing pleasure. Be sure not to miss the 30th Anniversary Celebration at Sawtooth Botanical Garden with food trucks and music! The celebration will run from 10am-3pm. Tickets are $35/$40 for SBG members/non members until July 23rd. Ticket prices increase by $5 on July 24th. ***Please note: Your name will be placed on a roster, nothing will be mailed to you. Your physical ticket is a special bandana that you’ll be able to pick up at the Sawtooth Botanical Garden two weeks prior to the event or the day of at the first garden you visit.
