Pride returns! Sun Valley Pride hosted by the Sawtooth Botanical Garden will host the following events:

Thursday June 12: Sun Valley Shimmers 18+ drag show upstairs at the Mint! Doors open at 7:30pm, Show starts at 8pm

Tickets are $35 for 18-21 years, $45 for 21 and up, and $75 per person for a LGBTQIA+ALLY/VIP table of four. Doors open at 7:30 and show starts at 8:00. VIP ticket holders receive a goody bag and are invited to meet the performers before the event starting at 7pm. VIP ticket holders will be escorted to the green room for “appeteasers” and Prosecco for photos with the performers! We encourage general admission ticket purchasers to enjoy a meal downstairs at La Cabinita or another nearby eatery. Saturday, June 14: Pride Ride Bike Parade and Sun Valley Pride in the Garden!

These two FREE events are open to all ages of LGBTQIA+ folk and our ALLIES! Everyone is welcome!

Pride Ride 11:00 am

This event is sponsored by our friends at Sun Valley Resort! South valley riders will meet up between 11 and noon at East Fork and north valley riders will meet up at St. Luke’s Wood River hospital’s north parking lot (thanks, St. Luke’s!). Sun Valley Resort folks will be at the rendezvous points with decorations galore. We will decorate our bikes with all things rainbow and unicorns and then it’s wheel’s up at noon as we are guided to the Sawtooth Botanical Garden for Pride in the Garden!

Pride in the Garden 1:00 – 5:00 pm

starting at 1:00, we will have Despo’s Tater Trailor food truck serving up TACOS, margs, beer and wine, drag performances (all ages appropriate, of course), a rainbow duck race (buy a duck – or several – here), a Pride Bike raffle (purchase tickets online here), and more prizes! There will be music, dancing, performances, and educational speakers. We will wrap up at 5pm with a dance-off!
