To honor Veteran’s Day and the brand-new exhibit, Words in War, join Kristine Bretall, Community Engagement Manager of the Wood River Museum of History + Culture, for an informal presentation and conversation about World War II. Kristine will begin with a short overview of Sun Valley and Ketchum’s ties to World War II and then open up conversation for participants to share their memories of family member’s military service. World War II was fought around the world, but touched every family and community on the home front. Learn a bit about what was happening locally and with local soldiers during the war. Bring a story to share. Refreshments will be served.

Some themes that might be a way to think of your family member’s story are: joining up, service overseas, returning home, life after service.

Pre-registration encouraged, but not required.
