The Sawtooth Writing Retreat occurs Sept 23-28, 2026, at a location 17 miles north of Ketchum. It is designed for adults and students who wish to elevate their writing skills, learn about the night sky environment, and connect with a community of writers. Participants will receive instruction from award-winning nonfiction authors, Kim Cross and Paul Bogard, fiction writers, Anna Caritj and Matthew Denton-Edmundson; and this year we have the pleasure to include Pulitzer Prize winning author, Mark Warren. Your registration fees for the Sawtooth Writing Retreat include all the writing workshops, lodging, food, an interview with Mark Warren, readings, guided hike(s), bon-fire fun, and an evening of star-gazing with professional telescopes operated by experienced astronomers.
