Reel to Real makes its debut at this Teen Night and it starts with your voice.
Reel to Real is a new, teen-led program that brings creative ideas from social media into the studio, turning short-form art inspiration into hands-on experiences. Each month, teens help decide what gets made next, making this a truly community-driven art program.
For the debut event, teens will create Gelli prints, an experimental monoprinting process that uses a soft gel plate, paint, and layered textures to produce bold, one-of-a-kind prints. No prior experience is needed. This is about exploration, collaboration, and creative risk-taking.
At the end of the night, participants will vote on the next Reel to Real project, choosing the reel or short-form art idea that will be brought to life at February’s Teen Night. Show up, make art, and help shape what comes next.
