Delve into the alternative photography process of cyanotypes and learn about their historical role in botanical illustrations. Select from an array of natural materials to compose your own work of art. Expose the cyanotypes to the sun and bring them indoors to witness the transformation as your compositions come to life. Each participant will leave with knowledge of the technical aspects of cyanotype creation and their own unique and captivating piece of botanical art.
Students are encouraged to bring their own natural objects for making cyanotypes.
This workshop will work mostly with pre-coated cyanotype paper.
Age & Ability: 12–18; all levels; beginners welcome!
