Neighborly Spanish is a free, 8-week class taught on Mondays from noon-1:30 PM by retired local Spanish teacher Jim King. The class will offer basic Spanish language skills seasoned with a little history and culture. Enrollment limited to 20. Classes are on Mondays, starting January 22 through March 18. Expect to meet or deepen your relationship to both the film and Club community through these 75-minute discussions. Think of it like a book club, but for movies! Join is for our Ski with a Ranger tours on Bald Mountain every Tuesday and Thursday this winter season. A Forest Service ranger meets interested guests at the Bald Mountain Map near Sun Valley’s Lookout Restaurant. The tour lasts a pleasant hour while skiing the mountain making three stops for the ranger to give his talk. Topics covered include a wealth of interesting information about local history, geography, geology, the Bald Mountain Stewardship program, expansion plans and local public lands.
