HAMMOND CASTLE December 16 & 17 Performed live at Big Wood Cinema in Hailey Written by Naomi McDougall Jones Directed by Veronica Moonhill A soon-to-be-filmed motion picture script, written by TLTC's Naomi McDougall Jones, Hammond Castle will be presented as a 2-day Live Staged Radio Play! Featuring an on-stage foley artist creating sound effects alongside a full cast, this fairytale for grown-ups is the story of a 7-month pregnant failed actress who becomes entangled with the power-hungry ghost of a long forgotten inventor hell-bent on fame. He draws her into a glamorous, ghost-filled fantasy and together they hatch a dangerous plan to secure both their legacies... at a terrible cost. Introduction to Avalanches Field Day

Ketchum Fire Station

Join the Friends of the Sawtooth Avalanche Center instructors for a field day covering avalanche rescue basics, snowpack layering, avalanche terrain identification, and basic backcountry travel. Please note- you need to have attended a Friends’ Introduction to Avalanches presentation prior to participating in the field day. There is a $50 suggested donation to the Friends of SAC to cover instructor costs. Donations can be made on www.sawtoothavalanche.com (click the donate button) or via Venmo @sawtooth-avalanche. Thank you! We use a pre-registration system for courses due to high demand. Please sign up for a field day using this Field Day Sign Up Form: HERE We will send out more information about the course in the week leading up to it. We will meet at the Ketchum Fire Station and then travel elsewhere depending on snow conditions. You will need a way to travel over snow (snowshoes, touring skis, splitboard…) Please reach out to Annie at education@sawtoothavalanche.com with any questions.

Live Nativity

The Life Church

Local costumed actors and live animals unfold the reenactment of the events surrounding Jesus’ birth while vocalists set the scene musically and a Narrator tells the story. Featured again this year will be three live camels and a donkey from Camels R Fun in Idaho Falls. The production starts at 5:00 PM and will be finished by 6:15pm. Come early to get parking, seats, hot cocoa and cookies. Hay bale seating will be available, but please remember your blankets and hand warmers. DRESS WARMLY, it is an outdoor event
