Ketchum Remote Collective aims to bridge the intangible gap between the Wood River Valley’s physical community and the remote workplace for many of its residents. Come meet and spend part of your week working alongside other remote workers. Drop in Fridays between 1:00 and 4:00 p.m. to The Community Library's Idaho Room. The group has a large, dedicated space for co-working!
Bring your holey sweaters, socks, beanies or other knits and learn to mend them yourself in a supportive and cozy environment. All ages welcome. Drop in between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. by the fireplace. Supplies provided.

Join the Friends of the Sawtooth Avalanche Center instructors for a field day covering avalanche rescue basics, snowpack layering, avalanche terrain identification, and basic backcountry travel. Please note- you need to have attended a Friends’ Introduction to Avalanches presentation prior to participating in the field day. There is a $50 suggested donation to the Friends of SAC to cover instructor costs. Donations can be made on www.sawtoothavalanche.com (click the donate button) or via Venmo @sawtooth-avalanche. Thank you! We use a pre-registration system for courses due to high demand. Featuring an on-stage foley artist creating sound effects alongside a full cast, this fairytale for grown-ups is the story of a 7-month pregnant failed actress who becomes entangled with the power-hungry ghost of a long forgotten inventor hell-bent on fame. He draws her into a glamorous, ghost-filled fantasy and together they hatch a dangerous plan to secure both their legacies... at a terrible cost. An open gathering of acoustic musicians of many levels coming together to play traditional tunes of the Celtic, Canadian, Western and many other genres. This is a free community event hosted by a volunteer. Everyone is encouraged to suggest a tune and to play along as they wish. Listeners are welcome, too! We welcome and seek to include all interested people regardless of age, background, economic resources, or ability. Meeting every other Saturday in the The Community Library Lecture Hall from 3:00-5:00 p.m.
