Adrienne Haan regularly performs spectacular French cabaret and German cabaret over the European continent when not at her home base in New York City. Having performed multiple times at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center, she is the consummate entertainer and the Wood River audience is extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to share in the entertainment tradition of cabaret musical theatre. This is the genre that sparked the enormously successful play and movie "Cabaret' but with the added authenticity of 60 to 100 years of great music. The 7th Annual Sun Valley Tour de Force will be held on n July 18 - 20, 202. This will be a weekend of epic proportions for car lovers of all ages. The signature event of the weekend is the ‘NO SPEED LIMIT’ high speed runs at Phantom Hill. Located in the heart of the Sawtooth National Recreation Area, 3.2 miles of state highway becomes a no-speed limit zone. For one day only, drivers are allowed to put their machines to the ultimate test. To date, the fastest speed on record is a Bugatti Chiron achieving 253.01mph. Drivers come from all over the country and beyond, it’s truly an experience of a lifetime. Eight events take place over the course of three days. Additional weekend events include scenic drives, a curated Car Show, hosted sponsor events and a live auction fundraiser; Cars & Comedy. The weekend raises funds for The Hunger Coalition, a 501(c)(3). This Festival is a juried, outdoor, fine arts show that includes world-class artwork in categories such as painting, sculpture, ceramics, photography, woodwork, metalwork, jewelry and more. The rigorous jury process used to select artists ensures the residents and visitors to the Festival will see truly exceptional work in all different categories. This Festival also has food trucks, a picnic area, live music, and a kids’ activity area. It is completely free and open to the public. Since 1958, the City of Ketchum has celebrated its mining history with one of the largest non-motorized parades in the west. Come spend the weekend with the whole family and watch the Big Hitch Parade on Saturday at 1 p.m, featuring quality buggies, carriages, carts and stagecoaches, is one of the largest non-motorized parades in the Pacific Northwest. Don't forget you can get an up-close view of the gigantic Lewis Ore Wagons on display through our the month of August at the Ore Wagon Museum. 2024 Schedule TBD. A community tradition since 1977, the Papoose Pancake Breakfast is held on the Saturday and Sunday mornings of Labor Day weekend during Wagon Days at the Ketchum Town Square. Serving an all you can eat country breakfast of pancakes, sausages, and eggs, all flipped, fried and served by club members and local characters. On Saturday, the breakfast is followed by the Big Hitch Parade, one of the largest non-motorized parades in the Pacific Northwest featuring museum quality wagons, buggies, and stagecoaches.
