Free Casting Clinics with Silver Creek Outfitters
Sun Valley InnLearn to fly cast, or brush up on your double haul technique with one of our fun and experienced guides. These casting clinics are for anyone who is curious or just a little rusty. Clinics will run Tuesday through Saturday at the Sun Valley Resort from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm throughout the summer. Equipment will be provided, but feel free to bring your own. Led by our amazing volunteer, Jen Barth, the Cat Cozy Club will be knitting adorable and comfy cat cozies for our adoptable cats and kittens! Discover the Healing Power of Breathwork Please join us for a practice of Breathwork, Meditation and Sound Bath to Quiet the Mind and Open the Heart. Breathwork is a healing practice and experience that we can all benefit from. Whether you are looking to reconnect, de stress from your work week, on your healing journey,or to strengthen your connection to your intuition and creativity. Kambrins passion is to guide and support others into themselves through the power of the breath. This is a 60 minute guided class and will include a gratitude practice, intention setting, an introduction into the breathwork practice, a guided holotropic breathwork session and a healing sound bath close. Join us for an enchanted night of music by Doghaus, dancing, photo booth, dinner by Esta, drinks and more! Prom Court will be elected based on best funky attire. This event is picnic style. Wildflower Walks
Wildflower Walks 2023 is SBG’s 19th year of leading Wildflower Walks! Join us hiking slowly on nearby moderate to easy trails as we appreciate the blooming native plants of our area. Walks will be led by botanists, naturalists, birders, and wildflower enthusiasts. We will choose the trails earlier each week according to where flowers are actually blooming. Participants will meet at Sawtooth Botanical Garden (11 Gimlet Road, 4 miles south of Ketchum), and follow each other or carpool to the trailhead. Children under 14 are welcome with an adult. No dogs please! Bring clothing for possible weather, hiking shoes (no flip fops or dress shoes), sun protection, plenty of water, reusable water bottle and a lunch. A camera, field guide, binoculars and notebook may help with identifying and remembering plants. Click here for an optional packing list! The Community LibraryTake out lunches from the Senior Connection including a short reading selection presented by the Community Library. Thursdays, beginning June 8th, lunch served 11:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Pick up your lunch or stay awhile at the Library's Cimino Plaza, outside the Children’s Library Entrance at 4th and Walnut (the program will move indoors to the Learning Commons during inclement weather). Come enjoy a nutritious and convenient lunch while engaging with other community members over interesting literature. Lunch registration is required.

WRTC Volunteer Work Party
Where: Adams Gulch, Sunnyside Trail. Wood River Trails Coalition (map) When: Thursday, June 15th 5:15 PM - 7:30 PM Difficulty: Easy - 1/2 mile hike from trailhead to the start of the project What to bring/wear: Closed toe/ankle supporting shoes and pants will be required. We recommend bringing your own eye protection/sunglasses, work gloves and sunscreen. A small pack is nice to have for water, layers and a snack. No dogs please. What we will provide: Tools, required PPE available for use: hard hats, eye protection, gloves etc. Bike helmets are not an appropriate substitute. RSVP: Yes please! HERE
