Ketchum’s popular free summer concert series, “Jazz In The Park”, returns on June 22nd and every Sunday through July. Come enjoy your picnic on the lawn beside the Wood River in Rotary Park with Idaho’s best “easy listening” jazz bands playing renditions from “The Great American Songbook”, and more. Featured this summer are four bands with women lead singers. New this year is Michele Eastland & Menagerie, also Katie G. & the Half Maccs with an evening of Brazilian jazz, “Musica Brasileira”. Returning are Boise’s Ashley Rose band, and a valley favorite the Nicole Christensen band. The first concert brings Ketchum singer Travis McDaniel’s group including guest artists, while the last Sunday features more latin stylings with the very rhythmic Bossa Nova Quintet. All concerts are from 6 to 8 pm in Rotary Park across from the YMCA on Warm Springs Road. Bring picnics and only low back chairs. This 23rd year of the City of Ketchum sponsored event has major funding by local individual donors, and concert production donated by Will Caldwell Productions. 2025 Schedule: June 22 – Travis McDaniel Band: Travis is a WR Valley and Sun Valley Resort favorite musician playing guitar and singing soulful neo-jazz tunes.
