Play, create, discover, and have fun! Afternoon Art is a free drop-in opportunity for community members of all ages to explore concepts from the Museum's current exhibition and create works of art. Families and friends are encouraged to communicate, reflect, and produce as artists together. Perfect for art lovers, curious minds, and anyone seeking inspiration. Projects will vary. Afternoon Art is offered in Ketchum on the first Friday of each month and in Hailey on the second Friday from 1:30-4:30pm and are recommended for families with children of all ages. Footlight Dance Centre, under the Artistic Direction of Hilarie Neely, presents “PETER PAN", Friday, Saturday, MAY 3-4, 7:00 pm and Sunday, May 5, 2:00 pm, at the WRHS Performing Arts Theater at the Community Campus in Hailey. Young and old are sure to enjoy the child in us all when we see J.M. Barrie’s 1904 story come to life through dance. All tickets are $ 10.00 and available in advance at Iconoclast Books, Hailey. The performance will include dance genres of ballet, modern, jazz, hip hop and tap techniques that make for a lively show with choreography by instructors Gabi Bryant, Robyn Fox, Shellrae Garnes, Hayley Henderson, Mackenzie King, Melodie Taylor-Mauldin, Bronwyn McGary, Hilarie Neely, Leah Taylor, Kassidy Thompson and Anne Winton. Guest choreographer, Kioa Delos Reyes set the Advanced Hip Hop piece for the show. Footlight in its 40th year, brings programs to children ages’ 4-high school throughout the year at their main studio located in the Community Campus, Hailey with satellite studios at Studio Move & the YMCA in Ketchum, and the Grange Hall, Hailey.

Join the Environmental Resource Center (ERC) for our 28th annual community-wide trash pick-up! Since 1994, volunteers of all ages have come together to clean up our cities, neighborhoods, and trails after the long winter on the first Saturday in May. The ERC’s 2024 Clean Sweep will take place on Saturday, May 4th from 9 am-12 pm. Participation is free and easy! The vibrant and pulsating energy of Cinco de Mayo comes alive at the Argyros in Ketchum. The celebration begins at 8p with DJ Juidos. We will have two live bands, Los Rivera and Noches de Reve starting at 9pm. Los Rivera will play an amazing set of Sierreño, Upbeat versions of great classic ranchera songs. You will be dancing nonstop. Noches de Reve will play a mix of Cumbia, Merengue, Bachata, Rock and Latin Pop that will transcend generations. In between live performances, the dynamic and one and only Los Juidos will keep the party going with every rhythm and beat you can imagine. This Cinco de Mayo celebration is not merely an event but a jubilant fusion of heritage, music, and community, where the spirit of Mexican culture reverberates through every note and every dance step.

Bring your own needles and yarn, and join master knitter and Sun Valley Needle Arts owner Patricia Lirk for a bi-monthly gathering. Come learn to knit, ask questions and solve knitting mysteries, and meet others. Meeting in the green chairs by the fireplace. First and third Monday through May. Drop-in. All skill levels welcome.
