Join us for a 20-30 mile gravel ride around Hailey each Wednesday morning at 7am throughout the summer! These are no-drop group rides; we plan to ride with you! 2024 is SBG’s 20th year Wildflower Walks! Join us walking slowly on nearby moderate to easy trails as we appreciate the blooming native plants of our area. Walks will be led by botanists, naturalists, birders, and wildflower enthusiasts. Meet at Sawtooth Botanical Garden (11 Gimlet Road, 4 miles south of Ketchum), and follow each other or carpool to the trailhead. Children under 14 are welcome with an adult. No dogs please! Bring clothing for possible weather, hiking shoes (no flip fops or dress shoes), sun protection, plenty of water, reusable water bottle and a lunch. A camera, field guide, binoculars and notebook may help with identifying and remembering plants. Historic Hailey Walking Tour

To help celebrate the 4th of July, the Hailey Public Library has invited local author and historian Rob Lonning to lead a 90-minute walking tour through historic downtown Hailey. Participants should meet on the Library’s west patio, ready to leave at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 27. The tour will begin with a look at images from the Library’s collection of Martyn Mallory turn-of-the-century photographs taken in Hailey around the 4th of July. Free.

Weed Warrior Day

Howard Preserve

Be a warrior for a morning - a Weed Warrior that is! Join us, along with the Environmental Resource Center, for a work party to get Howard Preserve in Bellevue ready for the summer! Bring your family and friends (and even your dog!) for a morning of pulling weeds and picking up trash. Garbage bags will be provided, but please bring gloves and a water bottle. No experience is necessary, and no sign-up is required. Light snacks will be available for participants. A few hours of your time will make a big impact and help beautify the preserve for everyone to enjoy!
