The City of Ketchum is pleased to announce the 2024 Ketch'em Alive free summer concert series, which brings live music to Forest Service Park (131 River Street East, Ketchum) every Tuesday from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., June 18 through Aug.  6. This year’s concerts feature a vibrant lineup of national and regional acts offering up an eclectic mix of Folk, Soul, Funk, Pop, R&B, County, Classic Rock, and more.  Bring your family and friends—all concerts are free and open to the public. Pack a picnic to bring or enjoy the variety of food and beverage options available to purchase from local, onsite vendors. 2024 Ketch'em Alive schedule: June 18: Side Hustle A talented group of musicians performing your favorite 80’s and 90’s hits, along with old-school R&B, Soul, and Funk. Join us for a 20-30 mile gravel ride around Hailey each Wednesday morning at 7am throughout the summer! These are no-drop group rides; we plan to ride with you! It is the best way to start a summer day. Please fill out our waiver via our website www.thetrailheadbicycles.com/group-rides before your first ride (once per season is all that is needed). Wednesdays at Hope Garden in Hailey, Corner of Walnut and 1st Ave. Thursdays at Bloom Community food Center in Bellevue, 110 Honeysuckle St. You'll be planting, harvesting, weeding, and in general learning about vegetable and perennial gardening.

Ketchum neighborhood walking tours

The city is hosting neighborhood walking tours to inform the Cohesive Ketchum: Comprehensive Plan Update process. The tours will build an understanding of how current policies and regulations influence how the city changes and provide the opportunity to hear from the community about the character and scale of buildings in different neighborhoods. PARKING IS EXTREMELY LIMITED AT MEETING LOCATIONS. Please plan to walk, bike, or ride the bus. Reservations are appreciated. St. Thomas Playhouse presents its Summer Theatre Project production of A Chorus Line: Teen Edition, featuring teens and young adults from the Wood River Valley! A Chorus Line is a stunning concept musical capturing the spirit and tension of a Broadway ensemble audition. Exploring the inner lives and poignant ambitions of professional Broadway performers, the show features one powerhouse number after another. Memorable musical numbers include "What I Did for Love," "One," "I Can Do That," "At the Ballet," "The Music and the Mirror," and "I Hope I Get It." A brilliantly complex fusion of song, dance, and compellingly authentic drama, the show was instantly recognized as a classic. All performances at Sun Valley Community School Theatre.
