Old Crow Medicine Show got their start busking on street corners from NY to Canada in 1998. In North Carolina, Doc Watson discovered them playing in front of a pharmacy and invited them to play at MerleFest – 20 years later they’ve been inducted into the Grand Ole Opry and have won two Grammy Awards and now are coming to Sun Valley. Their classic single, “Wagon Wheel” has gone Double Platinum with over 2 million copies sold! CHEERS TO 10 YEARS🍻 Sun Valley/Ketchum Rotary Club has been dedicated to creating community in the Wood River Valley for over 50 years. Over those years we have raised over $1 million for international and local charities/programs, such as Blaine County Search and Rescue, the Community Holiday Baskets Project, the Wood River Rotary Scholarship Fund, and The Hunger Coalition to name just a few. Each years we anticipate over 1,000+ beer lovers from all over the Intermountain West, as the Brewfest is becoming a marquee event in our resort town! Sun Valley Culinary Institute presents The Welcome Party on Saturday, June 22 at 6 p.m., for A Summer Soiree celebration at a private Sun Valley Home with good friends, exceptional wine and fabulous food prepared by celebrity Chef Art Smith and Food Network insider Bruce Seidel. Enjoy a seated dinner, live and silent auction, and paddle up, and then dance the night away with music by DJ SID3S. The Welcome Party supports the Sun Valley Culinary Institute Scholarship Fund, which assists with student education costs while supporting Wood River Valley’s restaurant community. The Argyros Theater will be bringing a very talented international singer to the Argyros for 2 concerts in early Summer… a Swiss/Luxembourg citizen who sings in 13 different languages…speaks 5 fluently. Adrienne Haan regularly performs spectacular French cabaret and German cabaret over the European continent when not at her home base in New York City. Having performed multiple times at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center, she is the consummate entertainer and the Wood River audience is extremely fortunate to have the opportunity to share in the entertainment tradition of cabaret musical theatre. This is the genre that sparked the enormously successful play and movie "Cabaret' but with the added authenticity of 60 to 100 years of great music. See all your favorites while being introduced to new songs by an unforgettable singer and her accompanist Richard Danley.
