(1 hour) Experience the warmth and wonder of the holiday season like never before with Sun Valley Resort's newly reimagined annual holiday concert. Set in the historic Sun Valley Opera House, "A Sun Valley Story" is a fictional retelling of the first holiday season in Sun Valley through music and storytelling. This year, we present a harmonious blend of cherished holiday classics and original musical compositions by the talented Colin Martin, accompanied by Brooks Hartell, Brad Hershey, and Jason Vontver. Additionally, we are thrilled to showcase the incredible talent within our community with special performances by local groups, including the Wood River Jewish Community and Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church. Christmas Eve Ice Show
Sun Valley Lodge TerraceThe beloved Christmas Eve Ice Show makes its triumphant return this year! The Sun Valley Carolers will take the stage at 5:30pm with some Christmas favorites, followed by a Christmas themed ice show (more details to come!). As always, complimentary cookies and cocoa will be served on the Lodge Terrace for all to enjoy! This year the torchlight Parade on Christmas Eve will take place on Bald Mountain. The Fireworks will still go off from Dollar.

Sun Valley Culinary InstituteJoin Esta Hornstein for the third annual Après with Esta at the Sun Valley Culinary Institute (SVCI), recreating the East Coast deli experience for après ski, including matzo ball soup, chopped liver, Reuben or corned beef sandwiches, latkes with Crème Fraiche and caviar or smoked salmon, noodle kugel and pigs in a blanket made to order at SVCI. Pre-order matzo ball soup is available.

New Year’s Eve Night Skiing
Dollar MountainCalling all families for an epic night on the slopes! Join us for moonlit turns, groovy tunes under the stars, and a dazzling fireworks display at 9pm sharp. Fuel up with fantastic food and beverage options inside Carol’s Dollar Mountain Lodge. Tickets go on sale December 1st and can be purchased online. Tickets are $55 for adults & $40 for kids (please note, season passes are not valid for this event).

Historic Hailey Walking Tour
Hailey Public LibraryTo help celebrate the 4th of July, the Hailey Public Library has invited local author and historian Rob Lonning to lead a 90-minute walking tour through historic downtown Hailey. Participants should meet on the Library’s west patio, ready to leave at 11:00 AM on Thursday, June 27. The tour will begin with a look at images from the Library’s collection of Martyn Mallory turn-of-the-century photographs taken in Hailey around the 4th of July. Free.
