The Sun Valley Carolers will take the stage at 5:30pm with some Christmas favorites, followed by a Christmas themed ice show (more details to come!). The Fireworks will still go off from Dollar.

Hygge at the Library

The Community Library

Hygge ("hoo-ga") is about taking time away from the daily rush to be together with people you care about - or even by yourself - to relax and enjoy life's quieter pleasures. The Danish concept is many things, including an opportunity to unwind and take things slow. Drop in to The Community Library all week (Tuesday-Saturday) for hot cider, cookies, puzzles, games, coloring, crafts, and of course, reading! Quiet spaces can be found throughout the library, including by our fireplace, and the Lecture Hall will be set up as a place to gather and be cozy together. We'll also be handing out free hand-knit scarfs. All are welcome!

The Argyros

Multi-Platinum selling band LANCO continues to forge new territory after the roots-frontier explorers and live-performance junkies broke out with the 2x Platinum multi-week No. 1 hit “Greatest Love Story." Creating a heartland rocker for a new generation, the band followed up with the Billboard Country Albums chart topper HALLELUJAH NIGHTS, marking the first Country group to earn a No. 1 debut in a decade. Additionally, LANCO garnered another PLATINUM certified hit with "Born To Love You", before the launch of their anthemic 2021 EP, HONKY-TONK HIPPIES, which was self-produced and co-written by the band. New music from the ACM “New Group of the Year” follows multiple nominations from the CMT, CMA, ACM, AMA and iHeartAwards, while Lancaster became the first member of a group to win NSAI’s “Songwriter/Artist of the Year” award. LANCO continues to "bring the full-band sound back to Country" (Newsday) and plans to build off their deep-rooted connection with fans in their new era of music. “A Tree of Life” Film Screening and Conversation with Gene Moss

The Community Library

On Saturday, October 27th, 2018, a white supremacist, further radicalized by the political climate at the time, walked into the Tree of Life Synagogue with four semi-automatic assault weapons, shouting “all Jews must die.” He murdered eleven congregants, ranging in age from 54 to 97, as they prayed. "A Tree Of Life: The Pittsburgh Synagogue Shooting" creates a deeply personal, trauma-informed portrait of the survivors, victims, and victims' family members of the Pittsburgh Synagogue attack, and brings into sharp focus the hate-based crisis that threatens our collective safety and the very social fabric of our society. As the first film to document the survivor’s stories and the only documentary with this level of personal access to the survivors and families of the victims, viewers will experience first-hand how the lives of those directly affected have profoundly changed and how the Pittsburgh community and the congregations set out on a path towards healing. Join The Community Library for a film screening of "A Tree of Life," courtesy of GOOD DOCS, whose award-winning collection engages and inspires by featuring rarely heard stories about individuals and communities working towards a more equitable world. The film runs 81 minutes. In person only. Register at ...
