Bald Mountain

Join is for our Ski with a Ranger tours on Bald Mountain every Tuesday and Thursday this winter season. A Forest Service ranger meets interested guests at the Bald Mountain Map near Sun Valley’s Lookout Restaurant. The tour lasts a pleasant hour while skiing the mountain making three stops for the ranger to give his talk. Topics covered include a wealth of interesting information about local history, geography, geology, the Bald Mountain Stewardship program, expansion plans and local public lands.

Join us for a complimentary Bald Mountain Tour, offered every Monday, Wednesday & Friday throughout the winter season. Tours meet at 9:30am in the Mountain View Room at River Run Lodge and are guided by one of the friendly members of our Mountain Guest Services team (yellow coats). They will guide you around Bald Mountain’s vast terrain, share where the best skiing and riding is and wow you with some amazing historical facts about Sun Valley. Tours are open for all ski levels.

Easter Egg Hunt at Sun Valley Resort

Join us for Sun Valley's Annual Egg Hunt on Friday, March 29th at 5pm Sharp! Take a photo with the Easter Bunny and hunt for over 8,000 eggs! Stop by the Opera House for a screening of Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire. Tickets can be purchased at the door. Finish the fun-filled day with dinner at Village Station, open daily from 3pm to 9pm.

Baldy Bash

Warm Springs - Bald Mountain

Join us for the annual Baldy Bash, celebrating the final weeks of an epic season on Bald Mountain on Saturday, April 13th featuring Americana artist Jesse Roper! Festivities will take place at the Warm Springs base area, with a street party featuring music from opener, Highline Drifters at 2:30pm, followed by headliner, Jesse Roper at 4pm. Bust out your favorite costumes, dancing shoes, and join the best party of the year!

Bald Mountain is opening for lift assisted hiking and scenic rides on Friday, June 21st for the summer season! The Gondola and Chirstmas Chair will be open for hiking and scenic access only on June 21st. Lift assisted mountain biking will open on Monday, July 1st. Summer lift tickets and season passes will be on sale soon!
