Mark your calendar for a special winter evening under the stars! On Tuesday, February 18, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Blaine County Recreation District is hosting a free family-friendly event at Quigley Trails Park in Hailey. Gather around the campfire to enjoy complimentary hot chocolate, s’mores, and beer, while taking in the beauty of Quigley Trails Park’s groomed Nordic ski trails. This is a wonderful opportunity to experience Quigley’s serene winter landscape in a relaxed, community-focused setting. What to Know Before You Go: No Nordic pass required. All are welcome to ski the trails during this event. Bring a headlamp or flashlight in case the sky is cloudy, as the trails are not lit. Please leave your dog at home for this event. Whether you’re gliding across the snow or simply enjoying the warmth of the fire, this event is sure to create lasting memories for you and your family.

Wood River Trail

BCRD welcomes the community to enjoy free Nordic skiing and snowshoeing on all BCRD winter trails. The 32-kilometer multi-use Wood River Trail, which runs from Ketchum to Bellevue, is always free. The Wood River Trail is groomed every other day and is open to skiers, walkers, dogs, and fat-bikes. The Ski Free Days for the 2024/25 season are: Saturday, December 14 Sunday, January 12 Saturday, February 22
