BCRD Community Levy Presentation – Open House

This event is your opportunity to learn more about the proposed levy, ask questions directly to BCRD staff, share your recreation priorities and help shape the future of recreation in Blaine County. The Blaine County Recreation District (BCRD) is proposing a permanent override levy that would provide long-term funding to maintain its recreation resources and plan for the future. The levy would provide an additional $3 million in tax funds for BCRD’s use. Blaine County voters will decide on November 4. Come to this open house to learn more about the proposed levy, ask questions, and help shape the future of recreation in Blaine County. What’s the Challenge? Since BCRD’s founding in 1976, Blaine County’s population has tripled, increasing the use and demand for our programs and facilities. Yet our funding model has not changed. With rising demands and increasing operational costs, our current funding is no longer keeping pace.
