Alaska Airlines & their partner, Horizon, have just announced that they have received approval to use a new proprietary radar system that is expected to reduce the number of weather-related diversions by 95%! This is huge news just in time for the winter season as weather can play a pivitol role in landing in the Wood River Valley.
