Join us for a screening of the BBC Travel Show’s Mozambique: “Gorongosa’s Great Comeback.” During this visit to Gorongosa National Park, we experience Africa’s greatest restoration project. BBC host Emeline Nsingi Nkosi gets close to the animals, spends time with one of the park’s vets, changes the GPS collar on a lion, takes a pangolin for a walk, and hears about the impact the park’s success has had on one of its youngest guides.
The 30-minute screening will be introduced by Greg Carr, a Wood River Valley local who has helped to restore Gorongosa, and after the film we’ll hear from Gorongosa National Park leadership: Aurora Malene, Oversight Committee CEO & President; Elisa Langa, Director of Human Development; and Pio Vitorino, Head of Health.
This program is in-person only. Registration recommended to save your seat.
