The Advocates invites the community to a free screening of the Academy Award-nominated documentary, Minding the Gap. This powerful film offers a raw, moving look at how skateboarding serves as a vital outlet for young people navigating childhood abuse and trauma, ultimately fostering resilience and healing. In anticipation of the screening, The Advocates will also host two free pop-up ice cream socials at local skate parks to connect with local youth and families. The event is 16+ unless accompanied by a parent.
