Gallery Walk at Gilman Contemporary featuring Jim Westphalen

Join us for an Aperol Spritz at the final gallery walk of the summer. This September, we are featuring two artists, one of whom is photographer Jim Westphalen.

Westphalen’s Echoes on the Land exhibition captures the weathered remains of disappearing homesteads across the American West. Shot with a vintage 4×5 camera paired with digital hardware, Westphalen’s images carry a painterly stillness, as though the buildings themselves are holding their breath.
