Be in the room as a new play takes shape!

Tony Award winner and two-time Pulitzer Prize finalist Stephen Karam (“The Humans”) returns to the Wood River Valley to share “Evil Diva,” the new play he developed during a month at the historic Hemingway House last October, in a free reading featuring two-time Tony Award winner Lisa Kron (“Fun Home”) and acclaimed writer/performer Erin Markey, with R.L. Rowsey at the piano.

A woman transformed into a monster—a maternal curse, or something worse—takes the stage to perform her own undoing. A play about mothers and daughters, broken love, and the terror of losing the story that once held you together, “Evil Diva” offers a rare chance to experience a new work while it is still being made, and to be part of its journey.
