The Hailey Public Library will host Cultura, a 4-part series celebrating the rich cultural traditions of our Hispanic neighbors. An Hispanic Heritage Month offering, Cultura invites community leaders to share personal stories, images, and conversation about their home countries.
On Thursday, September 14, from 5:30-7:00 PM, Salvadoran and community advocate Herbert Romero and dual immersion teacher Edith Lopez Millard will discuss Javier Zamora’s remarkable memoir Solito which describes his illegal migration as a 9-year-old boy from El Salvador to the US to join his parents.
