At Wiseguy, we pride ourselves on using local and fresh ingredients. We serve New York style, hand tossed pizzas topped with whole-milk mozzarella, and baked to perfection in our stone deck ovens. We make our sauce from scratch and make our dough fresh daily, using Shepherds Grain Flour, a company that uses mostly Northern Idaho farmers to produce their grains. We also craft delicious sandwiches, salads, and calzones. A large selection of local bottled and draft beer (and wine!) round out our menu.
Sun Valley Wine Company
The Sun Valley Wine Company is a hybrid wine bar and wine shop located in the heart of Ketchum. The Wine Shop: The Sun Valley Wine Company offers more than 900 different wines on the floor of the retail wine shop that is organized by geographic region and varietal. In addition, there is a curated selection of highly allocated and fine wine in the cellar. In addition, the wine shop will make every effort to accommodate special orders working with 8 local distributors. Delivery is offered based on availability and staffing. Shop Discounts are offered on mix-and-match cases of 6 and 12 bottles. The Wine Bar: The wine bar features a wine list that offers hand selected wines both by the glass and by the bottle. In addition, guests can choose a bottle with retail pricing from the wine shop selection and enjoy it on-premise for an additional $10 on the retail cost. The wine bar also serves light-fare from 11:30 – close with rotating and seasonal menus. Grumpy’s was started on or around Cinco de Mayo, 1978… exact date unknown. We are lucky the people there that day can remember anything. It was the late 70’s after all. The original owners were Gary Goodenough & Roger Eagan. Soon after the opening of Grumpy’s, Roger went and opened the only Grumpy’s ever connected to the original, in Mammoth CA Gary decided to stay in Idaho, and Roger went seeking his fortune in the southwest. There are many Places named Grumpy’s in the United States. From Falmouth VA, Hobe sound FL, Minneapolis MN, St. Bonn. MN, Cincinnati OH, but … THE ONLY ORIGINAL GRUMPY’S IS KETCHUM IDAHO !!!!!!!!!!!!! It started as a place the working man & local could come, have a beer & burger and not be bothered; you see Grumpy’s has never had a phone. Today, Grumpy’s is the favorite of local and tourist alike, “we serve everyone from Tom Hanks to the Town Drunk” a bartender was overheard saying.
