On November 25, 2016, Independent Goods open its doors at 330 Walnut Avenue (across from the Gold Mine) in the Colonnade Building. Curating handmade goods, the store is a celebration of the independent maker and their craft. The store carries gifts and collectables ranging from handmade copper flasks to jewelry to household goods. Currently, the makers are all from the United States, including a selection from the great state of Idaho.
The store is owned by full-time residents, Mark and Susan, who founded the store on their love for a great story, and those moments when a connection is found when you least expect it.
