Silent Spines: Reception
Ochi GalleryOCHI is pleased to present Silent Spines, a two-person exhibition of new work by Los Angeles-based artists Rives Granade & Vincent Pocsik. This is Granade’s fifth presentation with the gallery and Pocsik’s first. Silent Spines will be on view at OCHI, located at 119 Lewis Street in Ketchum, Idaho through July 6, 2024. We will host a reception on June 22nd, 2024 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM. Silent Spines pairs Rives Granade’s abstract paintings and Vincent Pocsik’s anthropomorphic lamp sculptures to complement one another as they push conventional boundaries in their respective mediums – Granade in an exploration of consciousness and Pocsik via his innovative approach to form. Both artists take an imaginative approach to their work to present a corporeal language of unusual curves, shapes, and textures. Rives Granade’s resolute expression of the interior world pushes back against modernist isolation; his paintings exist as repositories for thoughts, reminders, schedules, and snippets of biography and bibliography. Much like the ancient paintings in the Lascaux Caves and the graffiti etched into the Temple of Poseidon, Granade employs a variety of techniques to document time, layering, echoing, and affirming his own presence in the world. Adrienne Haan: Cabaret Français
The ArgyrosHailed as “an entertainer of the highest caliber” by The New York Times and “The First Lady of Live Entertainment” by The Huffington Post, award-winning Chanteuse Internationale, Adrienne Haan is one of the most electrifying concert and cabaret stars at work today. A singer, writer, and producer, she is constantly touring across the globe with a diverse repertoire. Adrienne Haan will be presenting two different programs of music on June 28th and July 2nd. On June 28, Adrienne Haan will be performing Cabaret Français, which she presented as part of the French night En Français, s’il vous plaît during the United Nations General Assembly in September of 2022 as a tribute to the French Chanson for which Haan received the Manhattan Bistro Award in 2018.

Curly’s Trail – WRTC Saturday Morning Volunteer Event
KetchumJoin the Wood River Trails Coalition for a work morning on Curly's! Where: Bottom of Curly’s trail When: Saturday, July 13th 9:00 AM- 1:00 PM, Lunch @ 12:30 Difficulty: Moderate Project Description: We will be hiking up from the bottom of Curly’s to clean/re build drainage features in the last steep section of trail. What to bring/wear: Closed toe/ankle supporting shoes and pants will be required. We recommend bringing your own eye protection/sunglasses, work gloves and sunscreen. A small pack is nice to have for water, layers and a snack. No dogs please. What we will provide: Tools, required PPE available for use: hard hats, eye protection, gloves etc. Bike helmets are not an appropriate substitute. RSVP: Yes please!
