Bald Mountain Clean Up

Join us for a community Baldy clean-up day! Meet us at River Run Plaza on Sunday, June 25th at 8:30am for light refreshments and a brief safety overview. We will depart from there to clean designated areas on Bald Mountain – please wear appropriate footwear, and come equipped with water, sunscreen and work gloves. Stick around for raffle prizes at 12:30pm – including a 2023/24 Challenger Season Pass!

Four-time Grammy Award nominee and pop sensation best known for her radio hit “Ex’s and Oh’s” from her 2015 debut studio album “Love Stuff,” Elle King will bring her Come Get Your Wife Tour to the Sun Valley Pavilion stage. Elle King has made a name for herself with her soulful, country-tinged take on classic rock and roll, and her powerful voice and playful songs have made fans of everyone from Oprah to Jimmy Fallon. The daughter of actor and comedian Rob Schneider and former model London King, she attributes her true influence and inspiration of music from her “Maw-Maw and Paw-Paw in a scrappy Southern Ohio town that puts the ‘just' in getting by.” She cites Etta James, Aretha Franklin, Al Green, Otis Redding, Hank Williams, Johnny Cash and AC/DC as her musical influences. King is a powerhouse live performer with a rollicking live act not to be missed. Opening for King, Michigan Rattlers are a folk-rock band composed of Graham Young (guitar), Adam Reed (bass), Christian Wilder (piano) and Tony Audia (drums). Whole Birth Prenatal Yoga and Support

Flourish Foundation

This class brings together elements of a traditional yoga class - stretching, balancing, mindful awareness and deep relaxation with informative and supportive group discussions. Women have an opportunity to connect deeply with their bodies during this time of rapid physical and emotional change. Through the practice of mindfulness, women learn to slow down and pay attention so that they can connect fully with their growing baby and also listen deeply to and trust their body's innate birthing wisdom. Sewing Club returns to the Children's Library in a small group setting. Sewing Club teaches basic hand-stitching through simple projects for kids, tweens, and teens. Free Casting Clinics with Silver Creek Outfitters

Learn to fly cast, or brush up on your double haul technique with one of our fun and experienced guides. These casting clinics are for anyone who is curious or just a little rusty. Clinics will run Tuesday through Saturday at the Sun Valley Resort from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm throughout the summer. Equipment will be provided, but feel free to bring your own. We recommend bringing your own eye protection/sunglasses, work gloves and sunscreen. A small pack is nice to have for water, layers and a snack. No dogs please.
