Sawtooth Rangers 4th of July Rodeo: Rodeo is a proud tradition in the West and in Hailey the Sawtooth Rangers have held an exciting professional rodeo, featuring some of the best riders and stock in the country, over the 4th of July every year since 1947. In 2011 the City of Hailey invested over $3 million to build a new state-of-the-art rodeo arena and grounds at the entrance to the city at Werthheimer Park to play host to the Sawtooth Rangers Rodeo as well as other events throughout the year. 2024 Rodeo dates are July 2 - 4 Pre-Rodeo action at 6pm Rodeo starts nightly at 7:30pm sharp. Paint a Legacy 5k

On July 4th, help us leave a legacy of smiles, Wood River Valley! This 5k will be supporting our local non-profit, Dental Legacy Foundation. You can run or walk! Please wear a white shirt and sunglasses! Each racer will be given a race bib and a cup of paint to throw at the start line. The race will start at 8:30 am. Please show up early to pick up your bib and check in before the race starts. Depending on the number of signups there may be heats.
