PIXIE & THE PARTYGRASS BOYS Pixie and The Partygrass Boys may be far from their humble beginnings, but they still don't take themselves too seriously. Originating as ski bums playing house parties in Salt Lake City’s Cottonwood Canyons, they’ve evolved into a nationally touring band that always aims to have the most fun possible. Hygge ("hoo-ga") is about taking time away from the daily rush to be together with people you care about - or even by yourself - to relax and enjoy life's quieter pleasures. The Danish concept is many things, including an opportunity to unwind and take things slow. Drop in to The Community Library all week for puzzles, games, coloring, and of course, reading! Enjoy our offerings, or bring your own games and crafts. Quiet spaces can be found throughout the library, including by our fireplace, and the Lecture Hall will be set up as a place to gather and be cozy together. Each afternoon from 1:00-3:00 we'll have free cookies and warm treats available in the Lecture Hall. All are welcome!

The Pisten Bullys are an original alt country western band based out of West Ketchum, ID. Their debut album, Cold Golds and Dirt Roads, is set to release by the end of November '24 with lyrical content that paints a picture of living in the mountains of Central Idaho with complementing sonic tonality. The make-up of the Bullys include James Tautkus (vocals, guitar), Chris Zarkos (drums), Drew Kirk (guitar, vocals), and Sean Kovich (bass, vocals).
