WRTC – Greenhorn Volunteer Event

Come out and help us with the final touches on the new Greenhorn trail. The bridges should all be in by then and we are looking forward to wrapping up the new section of trail! Where: Greenhorn When: Tuesday, October 3rd 5:15 PM- 7:30 PM Difficulty: Easy - Moderate What to bring/wear: Closed toe/ankle supporting shoes and pants will be required. We recommend bringing your own eye protection/sunglasses, work gloves and sunscreen. A small pack is nice to have for water, layers and a snack. No dogs please. What we will provide: Tools, required PPE available for use: hard hats, eye protection, gloves etc. Bike helmets are not an appropriate substitute. RSVP: Yes please! The Hailey Public Library has invited Zack Wood, owner of Ironwood Mycology and a local mushroom expert, to discuss the wide variety of culinary mushrooms the average person can cultivate right here in Southern Idaho. Learn about the different tastes and textures of culinary mushrooms and both indoor and outdoor cultivation methods.
