LED: Kid Lightning
The ArgyrosLED is a group of artists, directors, designers, and producers who make art. LED weaves movement, original musical compositions, and elements of film into stories that push the boundaries of what an artistic encounter can look and feel like. Based in Boise, they aim to uplift their community, and far beyond, by creating meaningful experiences for all that spark curiosity and wonder. Kid Lightning tells the story of a group of talented contestants on a popular game show. Set within a 1970s stylized world, these individuals push their limits to claim fame and enter the intoxicating arena of celebrity, only to discover that it was more than they bargained for.

The Community LibraryCo-work with a community of writers the first Saturday of each month for focused writing and craft discussions and connect to other writers from the Wood River Valley and beyond! All writing abilities and ages welcome. Join us in the library's Idaho Room, or online via Zoom. No registration required. Visit www.comlib.org for the Zoom link and passcode. The Wood River Writers’ Groups are led by AJ Super, a local author with a trilogy of science fiction books published by a small traditional press. She is also a Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers’ Association (SFWA) member.

Galena Ride, Stride & Glide
Galena LodgeThe Galena Ride, Stride & Glide winter triathlon is held on Galena's closing day for the winter season, Sunday April 7th, 2024 Dust off your mountain bike, find your running shoes, and grab your skis! This fun, relay-style race is held on the nordic trails (9 km bike, 4.4 km run, 9 km ski). Participate as a team or go solo - there is a kids short course as well. Costumes strongly encouraged.
