Bloom Community Food CenterCome volunteer in The Hunger Coalition's community gardens! Family friendly sessions. Fresh veggies shared with all. Wednesdays at Hope Garden in Hailey, Corner of Walnut and 1st Ave. Thursdays at Bloom Community food Center in Bellevue, 110 Honeysuckle St. You'll be planting, harvesting, weeding, and in general learning about vegetable and perennial gardening.

JASON WHEATLEY: LANGUAGE OF THE BIRDS
Gilman ContemporaryIn Jason Wheatley’s first solo exhibition at Gilman Contemporary, "Language of the Birds" features surreal and dreamlike still life paintings that explore our relationship with fantastical ideas and recognizable imagery. Embracing the illustrative style of John James Audubon and his famed “Birds of America” series, Wheatley deploys realist and absurdist sensibilities to each still life. Filled with metaphor and riddles, each canvas demonstrates a contemporary sense of humor and folly. Through repetition and practice, Wheatley paints from both memory and life. The oddities that are found in his paintings are a counterbalance the classical renderings in oil.
Sun Valley Economic Development – 3Q Roundtable on Alpine World Cup
Limelight HotelOur next Community Roundtable will be Thursday August 1st at the Limelight Hotel in Ketchum. We will be talking about the upcoming FIS Alpine World Cup Finals scheduled for March 18th to 28th, 2025 at the Sun Valley Resort. Panelists will update us on progress in preparing the race course, housing and transporting teams/spectators, the off hill festival and events, and potential brand exposure and sponsorship opportunites. We will also talk about the immediate and longer term postive economic impacts of hosting the Alpine World Cup season finale for the top 25 men and women by discipline in the world. Scout summer tasting series “Terroir Thursdays”
Scout Wine & CheeseEvery Thursday, starting the second week of June we "Scout Wine & Cheese" will be doing a tasting from 5pm-7pm touching upon the qualities and range of wine from the perspective on where and how grapes are grown. Pitting two varietals from 4 separate unique "terroirs" against each other and showing off their differences and similarities, no reservation required.

Hemmings GalleryEzra Siegel has spent over thirty years exploring forms, shapes and paint surfaces to create something that is both simple and complex. His paintings are both empty and full, ordered yet improvised. With multiple layers of washes and thin paint, Siegel’s work is full of nuanced color and tone. His work suggests a minimalist approach but exhibits a human touch in the hope that the viewer can experience beauty through imperfection and subtlety.
