The Hailey market will remain in it’s wonderful location- the front of Roberta McKercher Park (Main Street on the south end of town, between 3rd and 4th Avenue)! Enjoy some live music and ready to eat foods. Customers are encouraged to bring their own bags and market baskets. Sun Valley Culinary Institute Fall Gathering Fundraiser

One of the Wood River Valley’s most highly anticipated fundraising events of the season, the Sun Valley Culinary Institute (SVCI) Fall Gathering celebrates the coming of Fall with a Western, cowboy-themed celebration to support the SVCI Professional Fund, which assists student education costs and career opportunities while sustaining the Wood River Valley’s restaurant and hospitality community. Enjoy a cocktail hour with hors d’oeuvres, award-winning wines from exclusive vintners, and regionally sourced craft beers followed by inventive and delectable “cowboy” barbecue cuisine with Chef Rodrigo Herrera of Vintage Restaurant, Chef Taveesak “Dang” Chanthasuthisom of Dang Thai Cuisine, Chef Adam Fisher of Gretchen’s at the Sun Valley Resort, and others. The evening will include live entertainment from one of country music’s top emerging performers, Kurt Van Meter, and others. Jump on a mechanical bull ride, or try your hand at cornhole tossing and other fun activities. In addition, there will be a live and silent auction with culinary-inspired dinners, trips, and other unique items that rarely exist elsewhere, synonymous with the Sun Valley Culinary Institute. Where: Easly Gulch Trail (Curly’s) 43.780809, -114.543276 When: Tuesday, September 12th 5:15 PM - 7:30 PM Difficulty: Easy - Moderate Project Description: Brushing back aspen and re-working some old drainage features. What to bring/wear: Closed toe/ankle supporting shoes and pants will be required. We recommend bringing your own eye protection/sunglasses, work gloves and sunscreen. A small pack is nice to have for water, layers and a snack. No dogs please. What we will provide: Tools, required PPE available for use: hard hats, eye protection, gloves etc. Bike helmets are not an appropriate substitute. RSVP: Yes please! Go Figure! Elevate your Tuesday evening and join SVMoA for a creative studio session that will explore the human figure in variations of lighting, pose, and setting. SVMoA provides a clothed or unclothed model, refreshments, and an open, self-guided studio setting for participants of all abilities. Open to anyone interested in working from the model, regardless of experience level.
